Stocking up for a hike

There are plenty of small shops in Toubkal where you can stock up on supplies for a short hike or even a few days hike. If you are planning to hike to Toubkal it’s worth noting the prices are much better here than in Aroumd, Sidi Charamouch or at the Toubkal refuge. Though if you are carrying your own gear up it will obviously add to the weight.

There’s a hard to spot bakery in the centre of the village where you can buy freshly baked bread for a steal at 1D 20. Most of the shops sell water, soft drinks, etc. One bigger shop in the centre (on the left side as you walk up the village) sells a good range of provisions such as coffee sachets, tea, packets of harira, and pasta.
