Favorite thing: explore the magnificent Bahia Palace.

The Bahia Palace is undoubtedly one of the loveliest landmarks here in Marrakech.... and is also popularly known as 'The Resplendent'.

Constructed towards the end of the 19th century by the architect, El Haj Mohammed el Mekki under the instructions of Ba Ahmed, son of Si Moussa, the Grand Vizier of Sidi Mohammed ben Abd er-Rahman. Phew...all in one breath! This palace stretches out over 8 hectares of land and is surrounded by splendid gardens.

Fondest memory: That's me at Bahia Palace....

If you're really curious, the harem quarters is just behind me (noticed the MANY rooms?). I'd expected to see really beautiful bedrooms but it wasn't so...
:-( Even the Queen's chambers weren't very big....
