Some columns still stand upright or or rather restorated.
It gives a slight impression of how it may have been.
Photographing columns against a clear blue sky always gives good effects

The city was in the past full of beautiful Roman houses (called villa's) but unfortunately only the walls, some washbasins and the mosaics remain.
