Kasbah Des Oudaias sits high up on the bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The main entry is the enormous Almohad gate of Bab Oudaia. Remmeber to go inside the Bab. There may have some touts around, but just ignore them. Be sure you go to the end to take a breath taking view of Atlantic ocean.
Le Tour Hassan is Rabat's most famous landmark. It overlooks the bridge across the Oued Bou Regreg to Sale. The construction of this enormous minaret in 1195 with the intention of reaching 60m, the largest and tallest in the Muslim world. The project was abandon at 44m.
The most prettiest and most peaceful corners in Rabat. It is anicent Roman city. Admissio DH20. It is about 1.5km walking from the Rabat train station.
The street scene is very beautiful and relax. I enjoy the atmosphere in Rabat.
The stroll of the medina is nice and there is hassle in the souq. A friendly place where you can get virtually everything. A must while you are in Rabat.
