Servers wear uniform at this simple restaurant. This would be an affordable restaurant for any foreigner visitor to Xai-Xai.
I experienced my whole meal with the sound of the TV's soap opera all over the room. Apparently, all guests were actually very keen to watch the personal "dramas" that were being shown on the TV. !!!
Food being served is local traditional or a mix of Mozambican & Portuguese dishes. Guests will have an wide option from cow meat, poultry, fish, and seafood.
Four traditional portuguese Bacalhau (Cod Fish) dishes are on the Menu:
> Bacalhau Cozido ................. 280 MTn (about 8.5 euros = $6.5 USD)
> Bacalhau a Gomes de Sa' ... 270 MTn (about 8.2 euros = $6.2 USD)
> Bacalhau a Braz .................. 270 MTn (about 8.2 euros = $6.2 USD)
> Bacalhau Assado ................ 270 MTn (about 8.2 euros = $6.2 USD)
The Special of the Day would cost 100 Meticais (about 3 Euros).
