Favorite thing: The Macaneta Beach
Located about 10 km (approx 6 miles) away from Marracuene's downtown, the Macaneta offers an enjoyable 33 km (approx 21 miles) Indian Ocean sandy beach.
Once at the beach, Trees grown on the sand suplly the shadow to be taken if needed.
Macaneta Beach is a quite nice place that offers lots of room to all its visitors.

Fondest memory: The Incomáti River.
quote:
The Incomáti River flows from South Africa and enters Mozambican territory through Ressano Garcia administrative post, Moamba District, and passes through the villages of Xinavane, Magude, Manhiça, up to Marracuene where it enters into the Indian Ocean through Maputo Bay.
There is a stream of great importance, the Sabi, and it has high quantity of irrigation water for the farms through the dame of Corrumane. There are other streams of less importance such as Mozimchope, Vanetse and Bobole.
This river is one of the longest rivers in the southern region of Mozambique. It has an area of about 49 100 km2, from which 31 160 km2, corresponding to about 64% total area that lies within the South African territory; about 15 360 km2, corresponding to 31%, total area that lies in Mozambican territory; and the remaining 2 560 km2 which corresponds to 5%, lies in Swaziland territory (DNA- Consultec 1998).
