Right next to the pier where the large barge, the Batelão, arrives & departs, there's O Batelão de Marracuene, the restaurant.
Open every day from 8 AM to 9 PM.
This restaurant is a nice stop to seat for a little while waiting for the Batelão itself.
Beer costs 30 meticais (approx 1 euro) per 340ml bottle. Visitors may also try their food and my suggestion goes to the local mussels. Beef, grilled chicken, fish, shrimp and squid, are also generally available.
