Salamanga is a strategically located on the way from Maputo city to Ponta do Ouro in the south.
While traveling to the south (August 24, 2006), our group decided to make a stop in Salamanga for some shopping on the local store.
The store, Simão Mendes & Herds, used to be an old portuguese colonial cantina.
We bought a few drinks (=beer, of course), chatted with the locals, and proceeded on our way to Ponta do Ouro.
