There are a couple of tiny islands, just facing Cobue, some ten miles North of Metangula. Officially, they belong to Malawi, because the first Anglican mission in the region was established there and still is there. Of course, Mozambican fishermen are the only living people going around. If you're lucky they might have enough fuel as to ferry you there; unless you want to row, or rely on winds.
