Chobe bridge between the border of Namibia and Botswana is a low bridge. The Chobe river was like a 200 meter wide wetland, and not a flowing river when I was there in July/August. But the water is higher during the rainy season in December to April. 2009 was a rainy year with inundation in the area around Chobe and Zambezi river.
No people lives in the area around the bridge.

The main street of Katima Mulilo is a hectic street with a lot of hustle and bustle. The street pass through the downtown and ends up in the bush. Turn left and go north if you are going to Zambia or Botswana.

MUKUSI CABINS (more details on my Hotels Tip)
Budget travellers need every advantage they can get and this is a great one. You can get free use of the showers, toilets and pay for sole use of a cabin and get 2 people in. a cabin. This is all because the office is not within eyesight of the cabins or shared showers/toilets. The best thing is just to park in the grounds and try not to look obvious. They do sometimes have a staff member walking here or there.
Just in case you think I am trying to rip these folks off, just remember they owe me. Somehow, maybe by accident, I was charged an extra 10% between first speaking to reception and getting my money out of my car. Overall it is a good place to stay in terms of facilities, price and location near 2 borders.
Please rate this tip if it saves you money. Thanks.
