That was my first day in Namibia here and of course I went all the way to Africa to watch wild animals, this Daan Viljoen Game Park was a good start before getting into the real wild life of the more famous parks later. Anyway, here I could spot some common antelopes as in this case were few springboks.

If you have the time and it is warm enough (it is usually is) in the camp there is also a swimming pool and as you can see from this photo, it was not very crowded :)

There is a small lake in this Daan Viljoen Park, not sure of its name but this is unique and very special in this dry environment has lots of animals and birds around it.

While hanging around here in the park, watch out also for the small animals, sometimes they are not that easy to spot as they have perfect camouflage. In this case, few small lizards.

The Daan Viljoen Game Park is good for walking and no needed to use the car while hanging around here, I guess it is also rather safe. In this case I spotted not very far from us this Gnu.
