Favorite thing: There is a roadsign on the northwest road runnung from Solitaire to Walvis Bay that indicates the Tropic of Capricorn. This is in the middle of the dry, arid semi desert... but strangely enough there is also a sign offering Dolphin sighting and catamaran cruises!
