    The cruise boats has special door to make it easier for the seals to jump to the boat, beside being a bit wet they are perfectly all right to touch and play with :)

    There is small seal colony here in Walvis Bay and you tour will include a visit to the place, actually the tour included a seal visit to your boat as well.

    This odd looking tree grows in the Namib Desert. Getting the water it needs to survive from the mist that the cold Atlantic Ocean brings into the desert these trees can be over 1000 years old.

    This is the centre of Walvis Bay named after the first elected President of Namibia. Many shops and banks line the road as well as a few pubs, restaurants and an internet cafe.

    The oldest desert in the world is almost 80 Million years old. Some of the highest moving dunes can be found here just on the outskirts of Walvis Bay.
