>From Swakopmund to the northern border of Namibia lies the Skeleton Coast, and endless coast of dunes, where the main attractions (besides the animals that you can see in many National Geographic programs) are the Cape Cross Seal Colony and the many shipwrecks all along the coast.

Favorite thing: CAPE CROSS SEAL COLONY
Northwards from Swakopmund, in the Skeleton Coast, you can find the biggest seal colony in South Africa. Thousands of sea lions, it's a wonderful show but it smells like hell so get out of the bus, take the photo and up again!
At this point of the coast is where the first european sailors, portuguese, reached the coast of South Africa, in 1486 (Diego Cao).
