    As I already said the Skeleton Coast is so atmospheric, windey and cold!
    The beaches are deserted, you can look either way and see mile upon mile of sand.

    In the morning when we decided to leave the Skeleton Coast we realised that our truck was well and truly stuck in the sand!
    It took several people and several attempts to push the truck and to lay wooden boards to get us out of there!

    We were delighted when eventually we were on our way - we didn't want to be skeletons on the coast.

    The seas along the Skeleton Coast are a very small section of the Atlantic Ocean.
    These waters have taken many lifes, the sea is so rough and many a boat has been shipwrecked along here - some of the shipwrecks are still visible.
