Weaver bird nests
  • Tip Rating:
  • You can litterally find them anywhere, it just has to be above the ground.
Trees and Quivertrees and Telefone poles (a nest with cable, isnīt that nice?)

The Telefone poles you can find crossing this wide country like the net of civilisation. Mostly they follow the roads.

The nests can get real huge, too. I have seen trees crashed under them. It seems to happen with the telefone poles as well..

In the picture I have painted a sheep, looking up to all that grass and thinking: "all the good food is up there.."

    THE SUNDOWNER
A Sundowner is a delightful expression used across Southern Africa to describe having and adult beverage at sun down. Of course it can be any time, but the best time to do so is at sunset watching a beautiful African sky. This can be enjoyed anywhere. All you need is: You, a few friends (optional but preferred), a drink and nature.

Please have a look at some sundowner pictures taken here.

    Enjoy!

    The Sundowner!
When in Africa it goes without saying! The "Sundowner" is definately a part of everyday life when on safari.

I think I was the only Brit when we ventured in two 4x4's for our evening game drive. The others were German, but when it came to "Sundowner" time our guide set up a table with snacks and we had juice and beer whilst he poured the "Sundowner" cocktail, which wasn't a saurkraut schnappes mit lederhosen! No my friends, it was the good old British Gin and Tonic with ice and lemon! Huurrah!
