OK. It’s not that far off the beaten path. Just outside of Swakopmund there is an abandoned ship that looks like it was once used for industrial fishing. You could probably get onboard if you really wanted to, but I would not recommend it. There is a metal sign (pictured) on the beach warning you not to. I am surprised this thing is still afloat. I saw several waves go right across it. Its on the road to Walvis Bay.
