If you are interested in metal artifacts, then you should make a visit to the Artisans Village in Niamey. You will find lots of metal artifacts made of Brass, Copper, Zinc and Silver. These are beautifully crafted with hands. You can get anything from animals to people carrying out day to day activities. Bargaining is necessary as most of the times the items are priced very high to the foreign tourists.

2 months on the road, my memory cards of my digital camera all full, I searched for a good internet cafe to download the photos and store them on CD-R.
Now I found out several internet cafes have the hardware but rarely properly installed software. Let alone that they would know who to operate te device!
I decided to spend money on it and went for a professional IT company and found Informatique. They have the latest equipment and did a perfect job!!
Cost me one hour, about $7,-- for the CD-R and another $12,-- for the service. Not cheap, but for most of us still affordable.
