Oyubo market is 10-15 km's away from the city, it is called Oyubo market cos generally expatriates and foreigners visit the area to buy local crafts, art pieces and food. There are 2 sections, one is for crafts and handmade wooden masks, statues and paintings. the other one is for food and drinks imported. You can find whatever you like here.

What to buy: Masks, paintings, leather goods, fruits, beverage

What to pay: they will ask for prices that they never expect you to pay!...just propose the 1/3 and bu it for the half price

A one stop shop for travellers. You can get almost all local souveniers at this place.

Ranging from wood carving to oil painting.

What to buy: Local wood carving, ivory bangles, bronze sculptures, etc.

What to pay: You have to negotiate real hard.

50% asking price will be fair enough usually.
