Eka Ikpi is actually the name of the woman who runs this local eatery. The eatery eatself has no name and his been there as far back as I remember it. Nothing about it has changed except for the recent availability of cold water owing to the presence of electricity in ugep. Everybody in Ugep has eaten Eka Ikpi at some time or the other. Guess she has never changed her traditional recipe. The soup is watery but very tasty and comes with generous portions of chicken or goat meat. It is served with pounded yam, fofoo or garry.
