Located south of the city, there is an impressive rapids along the wide Congo River. One can see women doing the laundry on the river and the city of Kinshasa across it. There is a restaurant that overlooks the rapids and it is a relaxing place to have a few beers and contemplate as the torrential river unleashes a mighty roar.
