Twiga is a beautiful Hotel/bar /restaurant with swimming pool.
I didn't try hotel but I can give my opinion about bar and restaurant. Hope it will be helpful for you.
Twiga was built near 2001, at the beginning it was a nice place.
in 2011 I have returned back in Congo and I was very disappointed:
I was there with my sister .We had order pizza and “roulade de sole a la sauce de saumon”- rolled sole with salmon sauce served with rice and fried bananas.
+ Beer and juice.
We had waited for 30 minutes for rolled sole and almost same time for pizza (they had forgotten!!!).
So If I should wait for my sister as usual before eating, my order were become cold!!!!!
As in many restaurants in Congo there were lot of waiters but in my opinion in this restaurant, nonchalant and useless.
My fish was full of bones, only Salomon sauce was good.
Icing on the cake: fried bananas was billed as extra!!!!
In this restaurant there were no manager to complain to, (maybe the explanation of bad service)!
If you want better food and friendly mood near the beach, go at neighbors’ restaurant like Pyramide
Quite frankly, I’was not impressed and I didn’t live a tip!!!!
The only good thing in this place is swimming pool( best in the city)!

Magali is running this very nice restaurant on the beach. It uses to be the yacht club of Pointe Noire, but there are few boats and few people practicing.
You are on the firsdt floor, under paillotte, with a very nice view on the beach and on the port of Pointe Noire.
Even if you are outside, it is never too hot thanks to the fresh brise coming from the ocean.
Favorite Dish: Best pizzas in town.
Sea food (good lobsters, famous octopuss, schrimps)
And unique in Pointe Noire: the menu changes very often.

La Citronelle is the place to buy your bread and viennoiserie, but also the place to be in the morning, if you have time for long breakfast.
The place is very crowded, people coming to buy croissants and donuts, or for wealthy Congolese who have time to spend 2-3 hours for breakfast.
Favorite Dish: croissant (one is enough, two and you don't eat anymore for the day)
ice cream
donuts with blueberry
croissant with cheese and sausage

l'Arbalete proposes the best French wines of the country. You can find some grands crus classes for 200$ the bottle.
The place is for good food, not for fun, you go there for business lunches and dinners, meetings, etc.
It is better to make reservation, else you will not find a place.
Favorite Dish: Stuffed crabs, steak, sole meuniere
Nothing special, but the preparation os good, and if you take an expensive wine, you have cristal glasses.

Osaka is a good restaurant in Pointe Noire, ofering something else that all others.
When you enter, you are greeted Japanese way by the waiters (they bend almost to you shoes) and drive you to your table. Deco is like other japanese restaurants.
Owners and Chef are not from japan but from Korea, well, it does not matter.
The food is excellent and fresh (In Pointe Noire it means that you don't spend the day after in the restroom).
Favorite Dish: They serve you nice starter, whatever you take
a soup
a salad
a corn and cheese salad
My prefered dishes are
Sushi Osaka
Sushi rainbow

Nice snack in front of Score, the general store of Pointe Noire.
Althought it is supposed to be a snack/fast food, you have to wait to be served, because the food is fresh and always prepared for you.
One of the few places in Pointe Noire where you never have to spend the day after in the bathroom due to food intoxication.
They have a very good chicken, a large choice of pizzas, steak, and of course, Lebanese specialities.
Favorite Dish: Steak with mushroomcream sauce
Congo does not produce meat, everything is imported. The quality of Nour is outstanding for the country.

New hotel and restaurant on the beach, this has become a prime spot for tourists and inhabitants of Pointe Noire.
The excellent food served in rooms with a view on the ocean and the excellence of the service make me come back there often.
I also enjoy lunch on the terrasse outside, my feet almost in the white sand. Service is quite slow, but the quality of the food might justify it.
Please note that the restaurant belong to the daughter of the President. Should you have any problem, you rather not say it, else you might disappear or have problems with the police.
Favorite Dish: My best dish is the Langouste Thermidor flambed with cognac.
Sole Meuniere is also very good, common dish of course, but the fish is always fresh from some hours.
If I have something to say against the dishes, I would say that side orders don't reach the quality of the main dishes.
