This restaurant is extremely popular with locals since for 1 price ($0,75) you can eat as much as you like as long as it fits on one plate. There's choice of different dishes in buffetstyle.
It is very entertaining to see how skilled people are in piling up enormous quantities of food on their plates. You can not believe that 1 person can eat so much.
Only locally available food like matoke (mashed green banana), spagetti, boiled potato, chips and rice, vegetables and sauce.
For an additional $0,20 you'll get a piece of goatmeat

There are many great little restuarants in Kigali. From French to Indian, Italian to Ethiopian (and the many local restaurants). One of my favourites is La Cactus an Italian Restaurant that overlooks the city. It has a great variety of pizzas. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

There is a big variety of places to eat in Rwanda. From local joints where you can get beans and rice to posh joints.
There are some nice Pizza places, Indian, Chineese, a Greek joint and even a place where you can get English style fish and chips !
The atmosphere in restaurants varies from more casual than your standard college canteen in the local joints, to posh as can be in the hotel restaurants. It just depends on what mood you are in.
As far as dress code is concerned, come on this is a country where even posh business people walk around with black plastic bags over their heads when its raining !
My favourite lunch time treat is a melange - a self service buffett including beans, rice, green bananas, sweet potato, mini aubergene, spaghetti, spinnach, goat meat etc...
I do like the odd pizza though, followed by Tutti Fruitti Ice cream from the Fido Dido place in town. The food is absolutely tasty! These guys cook something different every day! Very nice salads and soups! I say when ur in Kigali make sure u have at least one meal here evryday!
