Dining restaurants can be difficult to recognize

See also my Sao Tome dining recommendations under Sao Tome. The name of the state and the capital are the same.Dining restaurants are quite difficult to find in the beginning of the visit. I went to one bar, found out a foreigner and keep him drinking while telling about the dining scene of Sao Tome. Eventually I got list of ten recommendable restaurants, most of them impossible to find without the local knowledge, specially in the dark without street lights. So ask restaurants and change opinions with every people you meet at Sao Tome.

Best food in the island, i think. Excellent food, good value. Peoples doesnt speak english, but luckily there were a german man, who spoke decent portuguese. That man was a mystery. He had a houses in France, Angola(?!), Sao Tome and who knows where. When i asked from him 'what do you do for living?', he just answered 'business. Trading and things like that...'.But, without his help, i think we maybe wouldnt get so good service at all. Seafood.The dinner for four;- 4 Super Bock beers- 1 water bottle- 2 cafes- shrimps for four- 2 lulas grelhas(?)- meio kl de gamba(?)sub total 296,000 Dobras
