Fun things to do in São Tomé

If you're staying for a few days at the capital, rent a jeep with a guide. There are lots to offer at every hotel. The places are far, the roads are terrible, so you really gain if you have someone who knows their way around and can entertain you with the local tid-bits on just about everythig from culture to superstition!

And then... go discover the country. The beaches, the mountain, everthing is nearly virgin and absolutely luxuriant. It's not a confortable trip but it's worth it with the beauty you bring inside you.
