food and flat tire...

Portalegre, in the south of São Tomé:having a meal at Valdo's food place, brings as desert a flat tire. some would say: is brother fixes tires and is ready to help with the proper tools... some glue and a lot of talk. anyway... being the elected Jalé connection is unavoidable! There is a compressor available to inflate your tire, ask gently for help and do not take it too serious, pay a beer or two and settle the things with a smile ;-)

The Bills

In nearly every restaurant we went to (except PANTUFO) more money was added to our bills. The're ingenious in doing it so bills have to be checked very carefully, item by item, sum by sum! Check, Check, Check, whatever the bad circunstances. Have dinner at Pantufo (close to Hotel Miramar Argentimoa) where they didn't even try to trick us.
