This picture show some sun-dried fish. In the beach, you can't miss that because the fish smells bad !!!
Learn some words of Wolof. Thats the original language spoken by most of the inhabitants. It's quite dificult to pronounce and people will laugh at you, but they do like it, as natural.
When out visiting villages, locals etc. It is worth giving a few francs to take someones photo, it is worth it, as they can get quite upset if you try to steal a shot of them.
Always ask people before taking a photo of them, particularly the older ones.
