Viavia: clean rooms in local atmosphere
hannette Says: We stayed several days in the Via via hotel - cafe.We took some Wolof courses (the local language) and made some excursions from here.Very friendly staff and a contribution to the local economy!There are 9 rooms with a separate bathroom and 4 rooms with a shared bathroom....

Favorite Dish: Poulet yassa (chicken) with bissap (local soft drink extracted from red sorrel leaves)

Quiet (except for the roosters & mules) village on the ocean near the airport. Mostly a fishing villiage, you can get the locals to take you out to the small island just off shore for a cook-out....
