 Wafro Says:  You’ll need a 4x4 and at least 2 days to visit Mont Assirik.Along the road you could encounter some of the last elephants(50) in the park.Near Mont Assirik you find a lot of chimpanzee nest and maybe you’ll see them yourself. 

 Wafro Says:   The hotel is located near the Gambia River and has several rooms, with and without air conditioning.There is a hide out overlooking the river where you can see the animals drinking and playing.There’s a pool where you can take a refreshing dip. 

 Wafro Says:  It is almost impossible to reach Simenti by public transport.You can charter a taxi in Tambacounda for a few days or you can try to hitch. During the rainy season the roads are very bad, so watch out. 

 Wafro Says:  Senegal isn't like Kenya, S.A. or any other Safari destination.You'll see wild animals, but not in large numbers. 

 Wafro Says:  You can go for a hike from Hotel Simenti to Lion Camp. It’s a 15km. long trip, which you do with an armed guard.Along the way you’ll come across several wild animals.
