Tuna fish sandwich

by ayesh

After a day of physical efforts your stomach begins to protest. After you´ve handed in your bicycle again and when you´re waiting for the ferry to leave, take a minute (alright, some more time than just a minute) to enjoy a very good and hot tuna fish sandwich. I do not know the name of the place but when you´re standing on the pier facing the land, it´s the first restaurant (with terrace) on your right. It´s fresh, it´s right out of the grill and it´s full of tuna!!!!

Leafed hut

by ayesh

This is nót a special place, but (believe me) when you have just conquered the hill by bicycle in the middle of the island, then there is nothing more welcome than a nice cool drink. The small and low-roofed hut is quite damp (or was that my own body sweat?), but nice and shady. The stools are tree trunks, which gives the place a natural effect.Don´t go there around lunchtime, because there may not be any free seats left. Most tour groups stop here for lunch and completely swamp the place. Do not expect a waitress to get you any food at that time because they will not be able to handle the crowd. Just a nice cold Coke will do.... (maybe three of them is better....)
