Seychelles is Paradise and the place to be to get away, relax and enjoy the nature....but for the younger generation like ourselves, we started to get a little bored at night....We asked the hotel management and the locals about the night life, and everyone recommended Tequila Boom. It was worth it. Located in the main tourist area in the north. Open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays ( we went to all three nights that week) this club with arabian decor, while very small compared to international standard, was perfect for Seychelles. The music was excellent, a mixture of international current top hits and local music. If you want to have a good time, this is the place to be. Be sure to get there before midnight though as it can get quite full, as it is popular to both locals and tourists alike. Entrance is only SR 150 ( approx USD 25) . One of the best nights out since we've been on holiday. If you want a good night out, this is the place to be. Overall, a very good holiday....and a very good time....while Seychelles is not Ibiza or Majorca....there is still something for those who want to have a good time.

...we didn't go to a single night club, concert, or movie at night. Nothing. In part because of the time change and in part because of our lack of interest, we really had no desire. Most nights we hit the beach to watch the sunset -- and the massive, beautiful fruit bats flying out to start their evenings -- and then went to bed to read. Having said that, we saw no evidence that there was anything resembling a club scene. There certainly are a number of resorts offering non-ironic lounge lizardry, "authentic" creole music (a doubtful claim given all we had read about Seychellois culture), and gambling. But however campy, the covers and expensive drinks would make it hard for us to justify the limited value. Final note: if you're going out, keep in mind that the buses don't run late at night, so unless you have an expensive rental car and want to drive the unlit, thin roads, you'll need to hire an expensive cab.
