There does not seem a lot of a "nightlife" in Praslin, except this tiny "nightclub" next to a shop in Anse Volbert Village, but the hut will not have place for more than 10 people inside and just a few people standing in front of it in the main-street.
There is also a Casino that I read about, it is next to the restaurant "Tante Mimi" but I did not go there.
As soon as it gets dark, and that is at about 06.00pm in march there will be almost no streetlights and people obviously stay home instead of searching for a public nightlife...

All the restaurants close at 9 p.m. and the last bus to take you back to your hotel, leaves about the same time. It's common in Praslin to take a All Inclusive package otherwise prepare to eat the local creole fish with rise and tomatosauce every night.....
Hotels have some events or dancing in the night but you can forget all the discos and stuff. I don't know about main island Mahe, but at least Pralsin is dead in the night time.

Because we didn´t feel the urge to participate in any nightlife activity, we settled for a romantic drink at one of the hotels at Grand Anse: the Indian Ocean Lodge. They have a very nice terrace there overlooking the beach and sea. The perfect place to watch an overwhelming sunset...
Dress Code: Anyway you would like it. (maybe some swimsuits underneath for a midnight dip in the ocean....)

That in the picture is not a nightclub. It was at that time the entrance to a nightclub BIFE which was on the left of the photo. The current nightclub 2013 is called Oxygen Night club and it is at the round about in Baie Ste Anne Village ( 3 km from Cote DÓr). It is open every weekend or to connect with some public holidays. Casino Des Ile In Cote Dór is also open until early morning for gambling and a late drink at the bar with friends. They even provide free transfers if you dine in their Tante Mimi Restaurant as well. Most hotels across the island have a weekly entertainment programme until 11pm. Live bands, cabaret shows etc although most tourists are by then too tired and do not participate.
