The restaurant is very charming and romantic.
The food is very good. There are specials at dinnertime. Wednesday is grill night and Sat.
there is a creole buffet with music.

This is the pizzeria of Berjaya Beach Resort and it is situated directely at the beach, with a nice terrace where you can eat out in the sun (my 2nd and 3rd pic) or inside the covered restaurant like in my main photograph.
Favorite Dish: I had just the welcomdrink, that was included in our tour-package, but some people of our group had lunch there and enjoyed it a lot.
This restaurant seems to be one of the most famous places for eating out in Praslin and you will find lots of stories about it in the internet, also in the link below. It got my attention for the fact that the name "Tante Mimi" makes me believe that the owners must be germans or austrians, because "tante" is our expression for aunt, and who-else would give such a name to a restaurant except someone spreaking german.

This restaurant is a bit tucked away between the bushes, but once you've found it you will be convinced of the splendour of Creole food.

The best thing about the food is the fresh fish that is been put on the grill each evening. While chatting away with his customers, the owner sees to it that all his caught fishes are prepared well, because he barbeques them himself.

Great setting of the restauarnt. Good foood, however only one choice for every course :0 But Ok, ether were opnly three persons living in the hotel ( New Emerald Cove hotel) and us two jumped there for lunch.
As we were on teh trip back from La Digue to Mahe via Praslin, w edecided to have kucnh here and spend few hours afternoon on teh hotel beach and near teh pool. The hptel itself is rather small with unique setting, see the pics and website.
Favorite Dish: I don't remeber the details of the menu, only waht si left in teh memory that all that was fresh and of great culinary creativity, incl. smth. with avocado and seafood :)
all i want everybody who visit that sites see is that seens mr.patrick as the last managment has gone and have new replacement. i would like to pass you a msg. they use to done take-away for sandwich. i use to call and order the sandwich almost every day but it was just a waste of my money which was the was the fries was half cook and the bread they use is taste like an expired bread.let me say ive been there last night guys for a s/w with some friends they told us that they dont do take away for outsiders clients and they tell the bar man give us back the money n go. dont go there because the restaurant has closed n they r losing all clients bcuz they have no more money its just because they are rasist. bad behaviour out there guys so be careful.
