You will find great souvenirs in Praslin and the coco-de-mer is certainly one of the favorite souvenirs to take home. On my main photo you will see a bottle of spritits made in the shape of a coco-de-mer, that might be a funny and very special souvenir. Of course it is also possible to buy a real coco-de-mer (my last 2 pics), but you have to considder the weight of 20 kg and more of this largest nut on earth (AND you have to buy one with a certificate to be able to take it out of the Seychelles and to take it into your homecountry)

What to buy: Why not buying a coco-de-mer bottle, instead of risking to pay over-weight on your flight home !

What to pay: Most souvenirshops will accept only US $ or Euros, BUT no local currency !

Baie Sainte Anne

There are some nice little shops in Baie Sainte Anne. You will also find gift shops in all of the larger hotels.

What to buy: Coco de Mer items. Anything shaped like the nut.

What to pay: More than you would pay for it at home, if you could find them there..

If you are staying in a hotel, you might pay a lot for your drinks ( 60 ringgits for fruit juice).
Go to a local shop and you can get juices for 9 ringgitts or less. You will be very thirsty in the Seychelles so do not forget to drink!!!
