This is a good place to get to know some of the delicacies of the Creole Cuisine. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the location right behind Beau Vallon Beach is also very good. It is also an open air restaurant

in the evenings they serve you a very good Creole Buffet!

The Pirate Arms is the only real day and night place to go in Victoria. It is centrally located, open to the street (with a good breeze of the fans) and a perfect meeting spot for locals and tourists!

The choose-it-yourself-pizza for SR 40,- (3 toppings) and the fruit juices!!!

A cozy veranda directly on the beach, the owner mme Céline has it since ages, but has never changed its quality and prices are reasonable. Very good food in a nice atmosphere. Book in advance and know that it's open only a few days a week.

Zeroffs on La Digue without a doubt.....we eat there so many times...and with locals we had befriended ...especially Du Val Radegonde :)
Just so laid back and friendly...great prices...fantastic atmosphere

You know.....It's really hard to chose which is the best. But I tell you what, if you fancy a nice juicy Hamburger, got to the take-off lounge in Praslin's(PRALEN) airport. Try the lobster too, but who am I kidding sea food will be komin' outta yo EAZZZ. Love the food..mmmmm. Anywhere you eat it really doesn't make a difference.

''La Pomme Canelle''.A restaurant with DELICIOUS creole and african meals.Coconut,Red Snapper and other fishes,spices and a good cook,the best ingredients for a unique meal!The restaurant is situated at the biggest island Mahé.I lost the adress,but i'm shore you will find it.

Sorry, can't remember it's name, but the beef (I ate meat back then) curry was probably the best I've ever had.
After dinner we sat in the lounge area of the restaurant. Mid conversation a lizard fell from the thatched roof, landed on my mother-in-laws (our parents came out with us) leg and promptly ran up her skirt! She screamed whilst the rest of us fell about laughing!!

Curry, hot, spicy and very tasty indeed.

Directions: We stayed in the Coral Reef Hotel. Take a left out of the hotel lobby, walk for 5 mins or so and you can't miss it.

2001 - new!!!I recommend excellent restaurant with kreol cuisine - Chez Plume)(Anse Boleau)
Fish very tasty and desserts you long can not forget. (especially Souffle from passion-fruit or coco-pie).
Good place a Anse soleil (not so far from Valmer Resort). To look at ocean from café terrace of lovely cosy restaurant it is possible indefinitely.
Delicious baking for breakfeast,
supper for 2 persons about 50$

I cannot remember names but there were some wonderful places to eat right on the beaches. They served you at tables right on the beach.
Wonderful 'local' foods. Sort of caribbean flair.
