Somali people love to play football(soccer) more then any other sport. In NW Somalia/Somaliland, there are numerous teams that compete against each other, try to catch a game. It's also very easy to join recreational games held informally.
Equipment: Just bring a water bottle and a fun attitude!

While your visit to Somalia, you might encounter a group of somali men playing football (soccer). Football is the national sport of choice in Somalia. (like much of the world) Somalis like visitors who want to contribute to their football matches by participating. Or you can watch young Somali-children(seen here in the picture to the left) enjoying a football game of their own on the side streets.
Equipment: Just your willingness to play the greatest sport in this world.
