Although possibly not of great interest to international visitors, the Tsitsikamma Forest Village Trust also has a nursery where they raise and sell indigenous plants. This is a venture worth supporting.

The TFVT provides local employment for a number of poeple, not just through the accommodation available at Bloukrans but also by the establishment of a number of craft workshops.
The "tsitsikamma Khoisan Village" as it is also known, is worth a stop to see the products being made. These include hand-made paper, candles and silk-screen and cloth painting. All is exhibited and sold in small shops at the main office, just after you turn off the N2.
All the materials are sourced and made locally, so if you are keen to support local community businesses, then this is a good place to buy your souvenirs.

Often confused for the beachside Storms River Mouth village, the old village of Storms River Village is a beautiful little forest village, although now it exists simply to serve the passing tourists.
