there are lots of nice places for eating out in bloemfontein, but the most popular which i remember was beef barron in the town, they got flags from lots of places of the world, the tourist who visits them send them later from their homes and than hang it in the main room with the names or messages from the senders. and than there are lots at waterfront and most great among those for me was Gino, gino or gina was a seafood resturant and also there was a small indian take away as well. and there are lots of spur at different places in bloem. Spur is like a brand of South Africa :)

Favorite Dish: but my favorite dish or food was not from any resturant. south african are very good in celebrating their weekends, they do brai "Bar B Q" in houses on popular braii stands which is an essential thing in virtually every houses and most are mobile so one can take it with any place. and something which cant found anywhere else instead of south africa are Castle Lager and Biltong. castle is popular south african beer and biltong is dry meet mostly (of boks or cow)

Bloemfontein Bush Pub

the most important place which i will remember my entire life is of course bloemfontein and its Bush Pub. i learnt experienced the "taste of freedom" for the first time in my life in this sweet city of roses in form of Castle Lager. as drinking (alchole) is not allowed in islam and not found in pakistan easily, when i arrived here my friend introduced me with this lovely drink called CASTLE LAGER, and i enjoyed it most. and it is even nicer if you are going to drink in Bush pub, which is located just at the verge of bloemfontein.. and another nice place is King Edward Pub at KE Road, and lots at loch logan.
