The Blyde River Canyon is one of the most spectacular views in South Africa and its cliffs rise between 600m-800m from the river bed.
At the Three Rondavels viewpoint (also called The Three Sisters) is an unforgettable view of three huge rock spirals rising out of the far wall of the Blyde River Canyon.
Water erosion over the years created these great potholes called the Bourkes Luck Potholes.
This is definitely a place worth seeing.

A great weekend trip from Jo'burg is Blyde River Canyon with God's Window, the potholes, Three Sisters, Pinacle etc. It is a beautiful part of Mpumalanga.
