If you're game, and think you're hard enough, you should totally go to a game in Soccer City in Soweto township. The local teams are the Chiefs or the Pirates.
When I was there the 98% black local crowd were happy and proud to welcome tourists to their games and all wanted to take a picture with us.
The atmosphere in the 95,000 people stadium is electric, you can get a tickert for about £15 or R150
Brilliant experience, although be sure to only go with a large group of locals you trust, or a reputable tour guide, and as always be careful and don't hang around Soweto after dark

Visiting a rugby game is a great experience for those of us how aren't blessed with a proper national rugby team.
I saw the Tri Nations 'final' SA-OZ in 1997, when SA had lost several games in a row and then beat OZ by 30odd points. Fantastic and entertaining afternoon!!!
