it was a very good one, plenty of food , varrities, big dishes, open bar salad... i like it.....it seems famous too.... have nothing against ...
Favorite Dish: i tried the fried squid with rice and dipping sauce, and tacos dish.... that was 3 years ago so i dont have any idea if these dishes still served.... check the full menu online...

This wonderful roadside deli is just over the Outeniqua pass, drive frgom George, over pass and you will find it on right hand side of road. sells pizza ( delicious) spuds and all sorts of deli stuff.

Excellent seafood at a good price. The fish gets more succulent every time we go.
When we last tried to go for dinner in December, they were unfortunately closed due to a failed experiment with a pizza oven, which gutted the place. Should be open again by now.
They have also recently started franchise operations in Mossel Bay and Plettenberg bay.

Tucked away in a residential neigbourhood in the shadow of the Outeniqua mountains, Red Rock is full of locals, and serves some of the best food you'll find in George. Be sure to make a reservation, as this place is very popular.
Favorite Dish: Steak Hollandaise, their fish & also the ribs.

I am sorry, but I have no idea what the name of the restaurant at the museum is. You dine inside an old railway dining car, which is really a neat way of starting your rail journey from George.
