About 25 kms south of Satara on the H1-3 is the southern most baobab in the park. It is quite large and worth seeing especially if you do not plan on heading to the northern part of the park where baobabs are more prevalent. The side road to the baobab is interesting as it crosses the N’waswitsontso river bed. This is not accessible during the wet season.

The mouth of the Luvuvhu River empties into Limpopo River. This triangular piece of land located on the most North-Eastern part of the park boarders three countries, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa.
Back in the 1900s poachers, fugitives, gun runners and other law breakers came here. When authorities tried to catch these crooks, they would jump across the boarder to safety out of legal reach.
CS Bvekenya Barnard is apparently the most famous of these crooks and has a large plaque at the corner.
This place is a long haul away. It is located at the most north-eastern part of the park. Punda Maria is the closest rest camp.

Throughout the Krugerpark are some cultural sites. Like for example the Albasini ruïns. At this spot once stood a general store. In the north of the park there is even a Great Zimbabwe Ruins like structure near Pafuri picnickspot.
