Male Ostrich

These huge birds will visit you at your chalet at least once a day, looking for some tidbit. Unable to fly, but their powerfull feet may make you fly! Watch out for anything lying on the patio or it could disappear down that long throat.

Beautiful bushveld

The view from the Mokaikai is wonderful. If you look very carefully while you are admiring the view, you will see at least 2 or 3 types of game wandering the plain.

Have you got something for me?

These will visit your chalet daily just in case you have something spare for them to eat - please don't feed them. - warthogs

Having fun at the Modjadji braai

A bring and braai is held every Monday night at the Madjadji camp. A hug fire is lit and everyone sits around and has a good time. Food and drink is availalbe to buy, and a huge pot of pap and sauce is available free of charge.

SSSSSSS!

If you are lucky (or unlucky depending on your point of view), you may encounter one of these. If you are walking the trail - keep very still. If you you are being intruduced by a ranger - no problem!
