This is a perfect spot for a restaurant.
Perched atop a small rocky area, overlooking the beach and the wilderness going to the susupension bridge on the one side, and the open sea on the other side... most tables have good views!
Service was friendly and only a tad slow.
Favorite Dish: I loved the variety of food, I had taken a couple pieces of lamb and some chicken, with plenty of fresh cooked vegetables (Broccoli, carrots and pumpkin), and a couple of roasted potatoes.
Food was well cooked and tasty.
Lance had pretty much the same food (we often do!). He enjoyed his too.
I am not sure if they do the buffet any more, would be interested to know! This was quite a few years ago that we were here.
If they do do it, I would recommend it though.

When you spend the day hiking and walking, you will certainly get very hungry. The best way to enjoy some food is to bring your own picnic. You will have an opportunity to find your own quiet corner to enjoy the food while breating in the gorgeous scenery. That's how I dined during my day in Tsitsikamma and wouldn't do it any other way if I would go back!

At the restcamp at Storms River Mouth you can only book for self catering accommodation. If you don't want to make your own meal, there is only one restaurant to choose from, which is the a la carte restaurant next to the shop. When we came in for dinner, we were fully attended by the staff of 8 persons (!) as we were the only guests at that moment. Although we had a very good meal, it was nothing special compared to other places in South Africa we'd been to before.
The views over the ocean however, were magnificent!

Average food, ranging from snacks to proper meals.
The food has a home-made taste to it. Can become very busy during December/January when it is high season.
Favorite Dish: Fish and seafood
