We went on an hour long boat trip that left from just below the front-end of the suspension bridge.
You have to walk for about 45 minutes along the Suspension Trail, along an easy boarded walk, to this little jetty.
There were only a few of us, and they took us a little out to sea, but not far at all, and then further up river, into the gorge itself.
We found this particularly beautiful and wished we could have stayed there for longer!
We saw a variety of birds, even a kingfisher!
The captain gives you some commentary (like the fact there are 7 species of shark in this lagoon area!) but it's pretty casual and not touristy in feel.
He steered us into a cave on the side of the cliff too, we didnt go too far inside, but it was a super experience.
We felt like we were going into another world when we ventured inside.
The colours and sheerness of the rocks was stunning!
Definately worth it. We would love to go again :)
