 A Bunny Chow from Durban by GerryFM
Probably not everybodies cup of tea, but we love it! Perfect tucker after a heavy night on the town.
There is a little dodgy looking take-out in the Overport area, known as Johnnys, that makes the best "Bunnies" in town.
Basically a Bunny Chow, is a choice of curry (lamb, beef. mutton, beans, prawn, vegetable .... you name it) in a quarter , half or whole loaf of bread.
All they do is slice a loaf of bread in half, scoop out the bread, then put the choice of curry into the part that has jsut been scooped out. After this they put the scooped out bits on top again, which absorbs all the juices.

Nights in White Satin I love that song .
This one man band ,the young man did a great job.
