Margate Public Pool

Margate Public Pool, Margate

Eish Says:  You will have your own reasons for swimming in the public pool rather than on the beach. For us, it was because the children saw it. I suppose they really needed to sit in the fountain in the middle of the pool, and slide down the slides. For us, it was a lovely diversion...

The wild swing: The highest gorge swing in the world! Plummet 33 storeys (100m) into the gaping abyss of the Oribi Gorge - an experience that will leave you exhilarated or in my case probably dead (hate hights)
You can also enjoy The wild slide, abseiling. white river rafting or horse riding

Favorite thing: The best part of Margate is its beautiful beach. It is very well kept, and has been awarded Blue Flag status.

If you are looking for anything else in Margate, accomodation or businesses, you will do well to visit:

shelly.co.za

It a very good site for information about Hibiscus Coast (incuding Margate), and all the local businesses and accomodation is on this site too.

Fondest memory: My best memories of Margate are all the fun I had at Backline night club, and on Margate beach too.

New years eve in Margate is the best place to be!
