While visiting Newcastle, a trip along Normandien Pass on a clear day either by car or motorbike is highly recommended. The view is delightful on most days. It was cold, rainy and misty at the top of the pass when the photo was taken, however, we enjoyed lovely, cloudless scenery most of the time. Please note that this trip was self-planned by a very small group and that bikes and other vehicles are strictly not allowed on the surrounding farms. The Normandien Pass road is rather steep and narrow in some places and can be slippery during wet weather.
