Brace your thighs! You can hire paddle boats or canoes at the lagoon on the Ramsgate beach. From there, you can be as lazy or energetic as you like as you paddle up the river past some very fancy houses. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the river is very pretty.

Ramsgate Restaurants

You can choose from a myriad of waffle toppings, including savoury and sweet, plus a selection of breakfast toppings served until 11am. Helpings are large!

There is a place for children to play, and a view of the weavers making their nests in the reeds on the bank of the river. It is a restful place, even with the kids playground on the premises. There is also a gallery and shop attached to the restaurant.

This restaurant defies categorisation: is it Breakfast? Bakery? Eclectic? American? (The waffles are Belgian style, so this can't be it). Other?
