Umhlanga Rocks is situated north of Durban along the highway N2 which connects Swaziland with Cape Town and by passes Durban.
From the inland, Johannesburg and Pretoria one would travel on the N3 highway all the way down the coast.
The M4 coastal highway connects Durban with Umhlanga Rocks as well as Ballito with Umhlanga Rocks.
